Citizen Kelly: Democrats mad Chicago Hispanics aren't looting

CHICAGO (April 21, 2021) - William J. Kelly, host of the "Citizen Kelly Show" is questioning why Democrats and their friends in the media are so determined to incite Chicago's Hispanic community to riot in wake of the release of the police shooting footage of 13-year-old Adam Toledo:

"Why were the mainstream media so determined to incite Chicago Hispanics to riot this weekend?" Kelly asked. "Every single newscast told the same biased anti-police story - that a police officer killed an innocent teenager and that's not the story the tape tells." But Kelly says that Chicago Democrats aren't innocent either.

Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx put a county prosecutor on leave after he didn't echo the Democrats' anti-police storyline and state in court that the teenager, who was with a suspected Latin Kings gang member who was shooting at cars at the time, was unarmed.

The release of the tape had Chicago braced for the worst and the stores along Michigan Avenue boarded up again this weekend, anticipating a third riot.

"Why didn't Chicago's Hispanic community take the bait and riot and loot?" Kelly asked. "Because they're too smart for that. They know that Adam Toledo wasn't shot because of his skin color." Kelly is an outspoken critic of Governor Pritzker and Mayor Lightfoot.
