If we do this now, we can beat Bruce Rauner in the GOP primary

My running mate, Ray Tranchant, and I were recently interviewed by NBC5 about Bruce Rauner's betrayal of GOP voters by signing the Trust Act AKA Illinois' sanctuary state bill.

Ray knows this issue first hand because his teenage daughter was killed by an illegal immigrant.

As a lifelong Illinoisan and Republican, it pains me to see our citizens betrayed by the political establishment over and over again.

Bruce Rauner promised us he was different. He said he was going to end politics as usual in Springfield. In 2014, the GOP establishment told voters to ignore Rauner's long history of donating to pro-abortion groups like Planned Parenthood and Democrat politicians.

The sad reality is Bruce Rauner has betrayed us in every way a Republican voter can be betrayed.

Rauner has made Illinois a sanctuary state for illegal immigrants.

Now Rauner says he will not commit to vetoing HB 40, which expands taxpayer-funded abortion and keeps abortion legal in Illinois even if Roe v. Wade is overturned.

And still Rauner's allies are making excuses for him but we know better, don't we?

We need to do more than send Governor Rauner and his allies a message. We need to defeat him in the Republican Primary in 2018 and, with your help and support, the Kelly-Tranchant ticket will win.

But Governor Rauner doesn't want a Republican challenger on the ballot and will try to stop us.

We need to raise $26,000 this week in order to guarantee our petitions can survive any legal challenge from Bruce Rauner.

The good news is that the caps in this race have been lifted. That means you can contribute any amount you want - $10, $25, $100, $500, or $26,000 to our campaign.

If you care about our national and state sovereignty, please donate to our campaign today.
